Printmaster® Model FP-P This is a foolproof method of taking fingerprints and palmprints. The Printmaster® can help produce a perfect inked print every time. The Printmaster® applies ink to the fingers in a revolutionary new manner. The ink is applied by means of latex pillow. The pillow wraps around the finger as the finger is pressed into it, transferring the ink from the pillow to the finger. The finger is sufficiently coated so that a full rolled print can be printed. The principle behind the Printmaster® is that only the peaks of the ridges are inked. Ink is never forced into the grooves between the ridges, thus, it is impossible to make a bad print. No matter how hard you press, you cannot obscure most prints. A specially developed dispenser maintains a uniform film of ink on the pillow, so that the pillow is always coated and ready with the precise amount of ink necessary to make a clear, high-contrast print. The pillow is automatically coated with ink and rotated to a new position after each application of ink to a finger.
