Porelon Fingerprint Ink Pads Porelon® Fingerprint Ink Pads are lightweight, pocket-sized inking pads guaranteed to roll thousands of fingerprints. The ink can be used on any record card or document. This special permanent fingerprint ink dries in seconds and does not fade. State and Federal agencies have approved this method of rolling fingerprints. Porelon® Fingerprint Ink Pads hold black ink in them for rolling fingerprints. Because ink is used, some form of handcleaner is necessary to remove the residue from the hands. You might wish to use Gritzª or our Ink Remover Towelettes. Two styles of pad cases are available. The Pocket Model has nonskid strips on the bottom to hold it in place while in use. It can be carried in your pocket, your briefcase or placed in your desk drawer between uses. The Desk Model has side pieces with holes for screws to attach it to a counter or desk top for a more permanent position. Replacement insert pads are also available. Just take the old insert out of the case and place in the new replacement insert. These pads may not be re-inked, they must be replaced with a new insert pad. The pad size is 2 1/2" x 5".
